Jacqueline Jones
With 21 years of fundraising experience, Jackie Jones is a successful and seasoned development professional, In her career, Jackie has directed numerous capital campaigns for hospitals, YMCAs, Children?s Aid Society and post secondary institutions. She directed a highly successful $15 million campaign for St. Joseph?s Hospital in Toronto where she secured a major gift of $5 million from a single donor. She has been involved in campaigns ranging from $2 million to $100 million. She has developed strategies to identify, cultivate and solicit prospects from across North America and Asia. She also recruited, trained and led more than 90 campaign volunteers for a single capital campaign. Jackie was the Executive Director of St. Peter?s Hospital Foundation, Hamilton for five years, successfully developing and implementing short- and long-term programs related to annual giving, capital campaigns, planned giving and special fundraising programs. She also developed strategies to raise public awareness of the Foundation and the Hospital through various public relations initiatives.

She also conducted numerous planning studies and lead Major Gift Solicitation Training workshops for clients. Through her success, she became Associate Vice President and was recognized for her success by receiving several awards. In 2004, Jackie joined Mohawk College in Hamilton where she surpassed the $15 million campaign goal.
Committed to professional development, Jackie has been a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Association for Healthcare Philanthropy; National Society of Fund Raising Executives; Canadian Centre for Philanthropy; Canadian Association of Gift Planners, Hamilton & District Chamber of Commerce, Canadian Public Relations Society and the International Association of Business Communicator (IABC).
An active volunteer, Jackie was a member of the inaugural Board of Directors for the IABC Golden Horseshoe Chapter and a member of the inaugural Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Golden Horseshoe Chapter and served as Membership Chair. She has also donated her time to the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, Hamilton Aids Network, the John Gordon Home in London and numerous other organizations.
